Sridhar Gowda, a literary agent, publisher, event producer, digital strategist and social entrepreneur entered the book trade in the UK as a bookseller  in 1994. He co-founded and led the team who built and marketed one of the earliest internet bookshops in 1997, the Peak Literary Festival in the heart of the Peak District countryside in 2005 and curated the events for the festival for 5 years.

 

He co-founded Peak Platform, a publishing venture in the UK in 2009 and Kadalu, the translation imprint has published English language translations of Indian and Spanish language works and Kannada translations of international works.
