Kanav Gupta is Assistant Professor in a college affiliated to Delhi University. His area of specialization for his M.Phil disseratation is "Hindustani Music and English Language: A Story of their evolving Relationship". Kanav is also an upcoming poet and has already created a niche for himself by writing ghazals in English, in the tradition of Agha Shahid Ali. He has published two books, namely, Love Canonized: The Poetry of Donne and Spenser, Worldview, 2014 and Romantic Poets, Worldview, 2015. His future projects are to include: "Women's history of Hindustani Music" along with translation of Urdu ghazals into English.
